Dubai Exhibition Calendar 2026: Which Events Need Which Flags
Plan your flag printing in Dubai around every major 2026 trade show. Dates, venues and the right flags for each stand, checked on official organiser websites.
Short answer
Dubai’s busiest exhibition stretch in 2026 runs from mid-September to mid-December. Arabian Travel Market runs 14–17 September. Then come Beautyworld Middle East (6–8 October), WETEX (20–22 October), The Big 5 Global (23–26 November) and GITEX Global (7–11 December). GITEX moves to Expo City Dubai this year. For most stands, use table-top flags on counters and an L-shape flag on the aisle corner. On a shell-scheme stand at Dubai World Trade Centre, keep every flag under 2.5 m. Aim to have flag artwork approved about five weeks before opening day.

What this guide covers
This guide lists the major 2026 exhibitions in Dubai and Abu Dhabi, with dates, venues, organisers and who attends each one. For every show, it explains which flags suit the stand, what the venue rules allow and when to order. It is written for exhibitors, marketing teams and stand builders who need flag printing in Dubai that arrives on time and passes the venue’s checks.

What changed in 2026: new venues and new dates
2026 has more venue moves and date changes than a normal year. Before you print a date or a hall number on anything, check the organiser’s website again.
- GITEX Global moves to Dubai Exhibition Centre at Expo City Dubai for the expo, 8–11 December 2026. The opening summit day, 7 December, is at Dubai World Trade Centre.
- CABSAT and Automechanika Dubai also move from Dubai World Trade Centre to Dubai Exhibition Centre.
- Gulfood and WHX Dubai (formerly Arab Health) each ran across both venues.
- Arabian Travel Market and Seamless moved from May to September.
- Dubai International Boat Show moved from April to November, at Dubai Harbour.
- No Dubai Airshow in 2026. It runs every two years; the next is 15–19 November 2027.
- INDEX Dubai and The Hotel Show are postponed to 1–3 June 2027.
A new venue means new rules. We found no published stand-height or rigging limits for Dubai Exhibition Centre. If your show is there, take the figures from your exhibitor manual before you size your flags, rather than reusing last year’s DWTC specs.

Arabian Travel Market 2026

Seamless Digital Commerce Middle East 2026
Seamless Digital Commerce Middle East is a payments, fintech and e-commerce event. In 2026 it runs from 22–24 September 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Beautyworld Middle East 2026
Beautyworld Middle East is a beauty, cosmetics and fragrance trade show. In 2026 it runs from 6–8 October 2026 at Dubai World Trade Centre.

Dubai Design Week 2026
Dubai Design Week is a design festival. In 2026 it runs from 3–8 November 2026 at Dubai Design District (d3).

Best flags: teardrop flags, hoisting flags and advertising flags. It is outdoors on the water, so wind decides the flag. Teardrop flags let gusts slip past; use weighted or water bases and ask the organiser what is allowed on the pontoons.

GITEX Global is a technology and AI exhibition. In 2026 it runs from 7–11 December 2026 at Dubai Exhibition Centre, Expo City Dubai (expo) and DWTC (7 December summit).

Flag printing in the UAE beyond Dubai: Abu Dhabi shows
Some of the region’s biggest shows are in Abu Dhabi, at ADNEC Centre. If you need flag printing in the UAE outside Dubai, the planning is the same: read the organiser’s rules, then work back from opening day. We print in-house and deliver to all seven emirates, including Abu Dhabi.

Best flags: fabric backdrops, L-shape flags and table-top flags. Your visitors are printers and print buyers, and they judge print quality up close. Sharp, colour-accurate fabric backdrops matter more here than anywhere else.

Which flags suit which exhibition stand?
The right flag depends less on the show and more on the stand you book. Start with your stand type, then pick flags that fit its height limit.

Venue rules that decide what you can print
Most flag problems at Dubai shows are rule problems, not print problems. These are the rules in Dubai World Trade Centre’s own health and safety handbook.
- Shell-scheme stands have a 2.5 m height limit. Flags and displays must fit under it.
- Only DWTC’s Event Services team hangs anything from the roof. Tell them at least two weeks before build-up starts. Lightweight banners still need approval.
- Fabrics and drapes must be flame-retardant to NFPA 701, or an equivalent such as BS 476 Part 7 Class 1. Fire-rated carpets and drapes need third-party certificates.
- Aisles are not display space. Flags, roll-up banners and furniture must stay inside your stand.
- Outdoor signs must be built and fixed to be safe. The exhibitor is responsible for stability and wind loading.
Ask for the fire certificate before you order. Organisers can ask to see it during build-up, so it should arrive with your flags, not after them.

When to order flag printing in Dubai before a show
Work back from opening day. Exhibitor manuals set their deadlines weeks before the show, and your flag printing in Dubai needs to be settled before those deadlines, not after them.

Artwork deadlines for upcoming shows

What to send your printer
A complete brief gets an accurate quote first time. Send these seven things.
- Show name, venue and hall.
- Stand number and stand type: shell scheme or space-only.
- The height limit from your exhibitor manual.
- Flag types and quantities, for example two L-shape flags and four table-top flags.
- Artwork files, or your logo and brand colours.
- The fire-safety standard the organiser has given you, usually NFPA 701 or an equivalent.
- Delivery address and date: your stand, warehouse or office, anywhere in the seven emirates.
