Custom Flag Printing in Dubai, Made Under Our Own Roof
A flag is the cheapest way to be seen from across a street. Whether it’s a teardrop flag outside a shop, a hoisting flag on your building’s mast, a set of conference flags for a summit, or a thousand hand-held flags for National Day — Power Media prints, stitches and finishes every one of them in our own UAE facility.
Nothing is outsourced. The colour, the hem and the hardware are checked by the same team, and we deliver to Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain.
Every flag is printed by dye-sublimation: heat turns the ink into gas and bonds it into the polyester fibre, so the colour becomes part of the fabric instead of a coating on top of it. That is why it will not crack, peel or wash off the way a cheap surface print does.
Why Clients Choose Us for Flags
Three things make the difference on a flag order:
- Flag and hardware as one working set. The pole pocket is sized to the pole it ships with — so nothing arrives that doesn’t fit.
- Reinforced stitching on the fly edge. That’s the free end that whips in the wind, and it is always the first thing to fail on a cheap flag.
- An artwork proof on the correct die-line. Laid out for your exact flag shape and approved by you before anything goes to print.
From a single flag to a volume run, the full specification is confirmed in writing before we start — so there are no surprises when the delivery arrives.

Applications by Industry
Flags earn their place wherever you need to be noticed from a distance, and where a rigid sign is impractical, too permanent or not permitted.
Retail & Shopfronts
Teardrop and advertising flags announce a sale or a new opening to passing traffic, and can be taken in at closing — no fixed-signage permit needed for a temporary promotion.
Exhibitions & Trade Shows
L-shape and curve-top flags lift branding above the stand walls so visitors find you from across the hall. Pairs with our exhibition stands and fabric displays.
Real Estate & Developments
Rows of matching flags along a site boundary signal an active launch and make a plot look established long before the building is finished.
Hospitality & Hotels
Hoisting flags on entrance masts — house flag, national flag, and a guest country's flag for visiting delegations — remain one of the strongest signals of a well-run property.
Events, Sports & Festivals
Teardrops mark a route, a start line or a sponsor zone; hand-held flags put the brand in the crowd. Both install fast and strike fast.
National Day & Ceremonial
UAE flags, commemorative flags, hand-held flags for staff and visitors, and table-top flags for the boardroom — produced to a consistent colour across every item in the set.
Corporate & Government
Conference and table-top flags for summits, delegate tables and press backdrops, where the flag must look precise at close range under camera lights.
Automotive & Dealerships
Tall flags read clearly over a forecourt full of cars — one of the few formats that stays visible when the ground-level sightline is completely blocked.
Materials, Printing & Finishing Explained
These words come up in every quotation. Here's what they actually mean, so you can specify what you need rather than guess.
Dye-sublimation printing
Ink is turned into gas by heat and bonded into the polyester fibre. The result is a soft flag with colour that won't crack or flake, and that survives sun and rain far better than a surface print.
Knitted polyester
The standard flag fabric. Light, with enough drape to fly and unfurl in a light breeze — which is what you want, because a flag that never moves stops being noticed.
Blockout fabric
An opaque layer between two printable faces. Use it when the two sides carry different artwork and neither can ghost through the other.
Single-sided vs double-sided
Single-sided prints once; the reverse shows a soft mirror image. Double-sided sews two printed panels around a blockout core, so both faces read correctly. Choose double-sided when the flag is approached from both directions — and when text must never appear reversed.
Pole pockets & sleeves
A stitched channel that slides over the pole. Standard on teardrop, curve-top, advertising and L-shape flags. The pocket must be sized to the pole — which is why we finish flag and hardware together.
Grommets, headers & rope
Metal eyelets set into a reinforced edge, for flags flown on a mast. The reinforced header is what stops a hoisting flag tearing away from its fixings in a strong wind.
Bases & ground fixings
Cross bases and water/sand-filled bases for hard ground; ground spikes for grass and sand. The base is the single most common reason a flag falls over — match it to the surface, not the flag.
Reinforced stitching
Double or four-row stitching at the fly end — the free edge that whips in the wind and always fails first. It's the difference between a flag that lasts a season and one that frays in weeks.

We’ll lay your artwork onto the correct die-line for the flag shape you want, so you see exactly what you’re getting before anything goes to print.
How to Prepare Your Artwork
Most reprints are caused by artwork, not printing. These four rules prevent almost all of them.
Send vector where possible
AI, EPS or PDF with fonts converted to outlines. Vector scales to any flag size without softening. If you only have a raster file, supply it at roughly 100–150 DPI at the final printed size.
Keep text off the edges
The pole pocket, hem and curved fly edge all consume a strip of the graphic. Hold logos and text well inside the trim, and let the background bleed out past it.
Design for the shape
A teardrop is not a rectangle. Artwork that ignores the curve gets clipped. Ask us for the die-line for your chosen format and design inside it.
Specify exact brand colours
Send Pantone references, not a screenshot. Fabric renders colour differently from paper, and a named reference is what lets us match your brand across every flag in the set.
Installation & Care in UAE Conditions
Sun, wind and shamal season are hard on fabric. Here's how to get a longer life out of every flag.
Match the base to the ground
Water- or sand-filled bases on paving and tiles; ground spikes on grass and sand. On an exposed forecourt, weight the base beyond what feels necessary — wind load rises sharply with flag height.
Take flags down in high wind
Portable flags are advertising tools, not permanent structures. Lowering them ahead of a shamal or a storm front is the cheapest way there is to extend their life.
Sun is the real enemy
Dye-sublimated colour is durable, but continuous direct UV will eventually lift any fabric print. Flags in permanent outdoor use are consumables — plan to rotate them.
Cleaning and storage
Cool hand-wash with mild detergent, air-dry out of direct sun, never wring. Store rolled rather than folded, so you don't press creases in before the next event.
How to Order — Four Simple Steps
No surprises. You see exactly what you're getting before anything goes to print.

Flag Printing FAQs
The questions we're asked most, answered properly.
What is the best flag for outdoor advertising in Dubai?
For most outdoor advertising, a teardrop flag is the strongest all-round choice: its shape keeps the graphic stretched open and visible even in gusty conditions, and it's stable on a weighted base. If your priority is maximum height and movement rather than a permanently readable logo, an advertising flag is better. For a permanent mast at a building entrance, use a hoisting flag.
What is the difference between single-sided and double-sided flags?
A single-sided flag is printed once. The ink shows through the fabric, so the reverse displays a softer, mirrored version of your design — text reads backwards. A double-sided flag is two printed panels stitched around an opaque blockout layer, so both faces read correctly and neither shows through the other. Choose double-sided whenever people will approach the flag from both directions, or when reversed text would look wrong.
How long do printed flags last outdoors?
It depends almost entirely on exposure rather than on the print. A flag flown continuously in strong sun and wind is a consumable and will fade and fray far faster than one used for occasional events and stored between them. Two things extend life more than anything else: reinforced stitching on the fly edge, and taking portable flags down during high winds and storms. We're happy to advise on the right fabric and finishing for your location.
What file format should I send for flag printing?
Vector artwork is best — AI, EPS or print-ready PDF, with all fonts converted to outlines, because vector scales to any flag size with no loss of sharpness. If you only have a raster image, send the largest original you have, ideally around 100–150 DPI at the final printed size. Include Pantone references for your brand colours rather than relying on an on-screen match.
Can you print custom-shaped or custom-sized flags?
Yes. Because printing, cutting and stitching are done in-house, sizes and finishing are made to your requirement rather than pulled from a fixed catalogue. Send us the dimensions or a description of the space and we'll confirm what's practical for that shape and location.
Do you supply the poles, bases and hardware as well?
Yes — flags are supplied as a working set with the pole and base for the format you choose. This matters more than it sounds: the pole pocket must be sized to the pole, and the base must be matched to the ground surface. Getting flag and hardware from one supplier avoids the common problem of a printed flag that won't fit the pole it arrives with.
Which flag should I use indoors at a conference?
Use a conference flag for stage flanks, registration areas and wayfinding, and table-top flags on delegate tables and panel desks. Both sit on indoor bases and are designed to look precise at close range — which matters when they appear in photographs and on camera.
Can you print UAE national flags and National Day flags?
Yes. We produce UAE national flags, custom commemorative flags, hand-held flags for crowds and staff, and matching table-top flags for offices and boardrooms. Producing the whole set in one facility keeps the colour consistent across every item — difficult to achieve when items are ordered piecemeal from different suppliers.
Do you deliver outside Dubai?
Yes — we deliver across all seven emirates: Dubai, Abu Dhabi, Sharjah, Ajman, Ras Al Khaimah, Fujairah and Umm Al Quwain. Tell us the delivery address when you request a quotation and we'll include it.
How much does flag printing cost?
Price depends on the format, size, fabric, whether it's single- or double-sided, the hardware and the quantity — a run of hand-held flags and a set of double-sided teardrops on weighted bases are very different jobs. Send us the format and quantity and we'll give you a firm quotation for the exact specification, with no assumptions hidden in the number.
Can you design the flag artwork for me?
Yes. Our in-house design team can build the artwork from your logo and brand guidelines, or adapt an existing design to the correct die-line for the flag shape you've chosen. You'll see a proof and approve it before anything goes to print.
What is the minimum order quantity?
There's no fixed minimum — we produce everything from a single hoisting flag for one entrance to large volume runs of hand-held flags for an event. Tell us the quantity you have in mind and we'll quote for it.
